We have a great opportunity to join an established care team with permanent hours available within 4 weeks of the 8 week fixed rota situated in Rochdale. The Client Andrew is a 51 year old gentleman who lives in his own home in Rochdale, supported by his existing care team providing 24 hour care.Andrew has an acquired brain injury which means that he is not able to communicate verbally although he does have limited hand gestures which support communication. He is unable to move around independently and uses an electric wheelchair for mobility. Andrew requires support in all areas of his daily life, including personal care. Interests and Hobbies Andrew enjoys his weekly hydrotherapy sessions although they do not currently fall within the shift times we are offering to candidates. He attends Rebound Therapy sessions weekly each Friday which is a specialised use of trampolines to enhance movement, muscle tone, sensory integration and communication. Andrew also goes to Skylight Circus Arts each week and particularly loves the Skylight Swing.Andrew also enjoys watching TV with a particular love of most types of film as well ..... full job details .....
