Business Development Manager£50,000 - £70,000 basic DOE + commission UK (Field-based / Hybrid - with regular travel) Head office based in West BromwichWe are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth and develop long-term customer partnerships. This is a consultative, solutions-led role combining technical understanding, customer engagement, and commercial development.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, target, and develop new business opportunities within industrial and manufacturing marketsManage the full sales lifecycle from initial enquiry through to solution development and order placementWork closely with customers to understand technical requirements and propose suitable solutionsBuild and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, Tier suppliers, and key accountsCollaborate with internal teams including engineering, production, and customer service to deliver customer solutionsManage and grow an active pipeline of opportunities, forecasting accuratelyNegotiate pricing, commercial terms, and agreements in line with company objectivesAttend customer meetings, site visits, and relevant industry eventsMaintain accurate records within CRM systems and provide regular reportingAbout YouProven experience in business development, technical sales, or account management within manufacturing, materials, or industrial environmentsComfortable working in a consultative, solution-selling capacity rather than transactional salesStrong commercial ..... full job details .....
