Temporary Assistant Conveyancer (until December)Competitive SalaryWitham, EssexMonday - Friday, 9am - 5pm The purpose of the role is to support the legal team in all aspects of plot conveyancing work, assisting with legal documentation, post-completion processes, and general legal office duties, while gaining experience and contributing to the smooth operation of the team within this temporary opportunity. Duties: Assist with plot reservations, engrossments, filing, exchanges, title checks and completions to ensure smooth and timely property transactions Support Conveyancers with their caseloads Handle standard conveyancing matters under supervision to develop legal expertise and contribute to case progress. Manage post-completion tasks such as stamp duty returns and Land Registration to finalise transactions and ensure legal compliance. Assist with lease/transfer variations and reversion sales to facilitate accurate and lawful property modificati Support the recovery of retentions (non-litigious) to secure outstanding funds and close financial matt Carry out Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks in accordance with legal requirements to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate risk.
