Description

• Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and process payment runs, ensuring compliance with payment terms.
• Maintain accurate records and update the purchase ledger system.
• Communicate with suppliers to resolve queries and maintain strong relationships.
• Assist with month-end tasks, including ledger reconciliations and reporting.
• Provide support to the wider finance team as required.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger should have:

• Previous experience in an accounting or finance role, particularly with purchase ledgers.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
