We’re looking for a dynamic General Manager to lead catering operations at one of our largest distribution contracts. This is a fast-paced, high-volume site where you''ll take full ownership of the catering service, delivering great food, exceptional service, and an outstanding colleague experience.Responsibilities

Lead and inspire your catering teamManage budgets and drive financial performanceEnsure food quality, safety, and compliance standardsBuild strong client relationships and deliver service excellenceLead, inspire, collaborate and support your direct reports to deliver consistently exceptional standardsBuild positive, credible and collaborative relationships and communication methods with clients and other key stakeholders in the businessContinually look to develop your team through mentoring, training, recognition, and empowermentCreate a culture of excellence with your team, continually striving to push the boundaries of brilliance through natural caring service, obsessive food standards and innovationAchieve business critical KPIs including Health and Safety, Sustainability, Financial and GovernanceQualifications / Experience

Senior management experience in contract catering, BandI, or large-scale hospitalityStrong leadership and people skillsCommercially focused with proven results in budget controlA hands-on, customer-focused approach; previous experience as a general manager in food and hospitalityBackground within a large food business i.e distribution, stadiaHave a contagious passion for food and customer serviceYou draw satisfaction from managing, training, and supporting a teamFinancially astute, you are very analytical and know how to create and maintain budgets and drive commercial performanceExcellent delegation and influencing skillsAbility to prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, creative environment and work well under pressureMeticulous organisational abilities; high attention to detailConcise and effective verbal and written communicationAbility to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspectiveExcellent strategic thinking and critical reasoning skillsWorks according to the BaxterStorey core valuesBenefits / Additional Information
