Community Engagement Officer
I am seeking a proactive and community-focused Housing Relations Officer to join a busy Customer Services team.You will act as a key link between the organisation, residents, and external stakeholders supporting engagement initiatives, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring residents have a strong voice in shaping services and communities. Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a main point of contact for residents, community groups, and key stakeholdersBuild and maintain strong relationships with local organisations, partners, and elected representativesSupport and promote resident involvement, including engagement activities, scrutiny, and co-regulationProvide guidance and support to community groups on governance, funding, and development opportunitiesPromote community initiatives and ensure residents are informed about key services and developmentsDeliver digital inclusion initiatives, supporting residents to overcome barriers to accessSupport the delivery of community programmes, including funding initiatives and neighbourhood plansMonitor and evaluate engagement activities, capturing data to measure impact and outcomesEnsure compliance with health and safety, equality, and regulatory requirementsAttend occasional evening and weekend meetings where required About YouExperience in community engagement, housing, or a similar customer-focused roleStrong communication and relationship-building skillsExperience working with residents, stakeholders, or community groupsAbility to manage ..... full job details .....
