This is a crucial leadership role, responsible for setting the vision, driving academic standards, and overseeing the curriculum, teaching, and learning within the Mathematics department. The successful candidate will empower both students and staff to achieve their full potential in mathematics.

The Role

The Head of Maths will:

• Provide visionary leadership and management for the Mathematics department.
• Lead on curriculum development, assessment, and enrichment initiatives across all key stages.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning, ensuring consistently high standards.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of dedicated Maths teachers, including performance management.
• Utilise data effectively to drive student progress and implement targeted interventions.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an outstanding Maths Teacher (QTS/QTLS) who:

• Has significant experience in a leadership role within a Maths department, ideally as 2iC or Head of Department.
• Possesses a proven track record of securing excellent student outcomes in Mathematics.
• Is a strategic thinker with a clear vision for the future of Maths education.
• Demonstrates exceptional communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
