We are currently working with a leading housing association, looking for an Accountant with either housing or property management experience.What they are offering:Remote workingCompetitive salaryGenerous benefit packageAccountant (Housing)Fixed term contract Monday - Fri 37.5hrsRemote (1 day a month in office) 48,000 - 55,000 annual salaryTo be successful in this application as an Accountant, you will have:Social housing, public sector or property management experienceManagement experience of at least 1 individualProven experience working with a housing management system and finance systemKnowledge of rent and service chargesThe key responsibilities of this role are:Ensuring that all year-end calculations are appropriate and meeting the relevant deadlinesPreparing income and expenditure reports for leaseholders for final audit and sign offHaving up to date knowledge of service charge legislationsManage and maintain the financial models used to prepare accurate chargesLiaising with all relevant stakeholders, including: tenants, suppliers, management companies and internal departments to resolve service charge queriesArranging system updates and reconciliation of revised chargesPerson Specification:AAT preferred but not essentialStrong computer skillsAbility to manage own workload in a timely mannerIf you are interested in this role finding your experience suitable for the role of Accountant (Housing), please apply with an updated CV or send it to (url ..... full job details .....
