Our client is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Technician to join their East London team. The ideal candidate will have experience producing high-quality technical drawings for bespoke interior and exterior architectural features, supporting their design and production teams throughout project lifecycles. Key Responsibilities: Create precise 2D and 3D CAD drawings for bespoke plasterwork, cornices, ceiling roses, and other decorative architectural mouldings. Interpret architectural and design specifications, transforming concepts into accurate working drawings. Work closely with Project Managers, Design Coordinators, and Workshop staff to ensure design intent is maintained through to manufacture and installation. Update and revise drawings as required, maintaining accurate drawing registers. Assist in site surveys when necessary and incorporate on-site measurements into drawings. Ensure all drawings comply with company and industry standards. Requirements: Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; experience with other CAD software (e.g. Rhino, SketchUp, Revit) is a plus. Previous experience in architectural joinery, interiors, or heritage restoration preferred. Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
