This role involves delivering both direct and indirect speech and language therapy in line with the pupil''s Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), working closely with the school, family, and wider professionals.The successful candidate will be HCPC registered and have experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), language difficulties, and social communication needs. Experience using Talk Tools and PROMPT is essential.Pupil ProfileDiagnosis:Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)Language difficultiesSocial communication and interaction challenges Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver direct speech and language therapy of no less than 90 minutes per weekProvide indirect input, consisting of:Three sessions per year (minimum 30 minutes per session)Attend and contribute to termly meetings with school professionals (1 hour per term)Complete annual reassessment of the young person (approximately 2 hours per year)Oversee and monitor a weekly small-group social skills session (3-4 pupils), designed to:Develop turn-taking and peer interaction skillsFollow a structured programme such as Attention AutismBe ..... full job details .....
