Are you a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting young children with additional needs? We are recruiting for a full-time 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with a Reception-aged pupil in a primary school in South Birmingham. This rewarding position requires a nurturing and committed individual who can provide consistent support throughout the academic year.

• Supporting a pupil in Reception with communication difficulties

• Providing personal care as part of the daily routine (this is essential)

• Working in and out of the classroom, adapting to the pupil''s needs throughout the day

• Collaborating closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and external professionals to support the child''s development

• Building a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for the pupil to thrive in

• Temp-to-perm opportunity in a supportive and welcoming school

• Gain hands-on experience in a Reception setting while contributing to the child''s personal and academic progress

• Experience working 1:1 with children in EYFS or KS1, particularly those with SEN or communication needs

• Comfortable and experienced in providing personal care

• Committed, reliable, and willing to commit for the full academic year

• Flexible and proactive, able to support the pupil both in class and during time outside of class

• Based in or able to travel easily to South Birmingham
