Technical Lead - ERP/Finance Systems. Key Details: Inside IR35, Hybrid, Initial 6 months, T2P Option. We are seeking an Interim Technology Domain Lead to take ownership of the financial systems landscape and upskill an existing team of three for a leading Investment Management firm. This role sits within the wider Business Systems function and reports to the Head of Business Systems. The role is to take control of the finance systems team and stabilise, structure, and raise the capability of the team, while embedding best practice frameworks that will support future growth.Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction across financial systems (ERP, fund management, expense management).Coach and upskill a small team – lifting day-to-day planning, structure, and ways of working.Act as the senior contact between finance leadership, technology, and change teams.Coordinate external vendors/contractors, ensuring effective use of outsourced technical specialists.Define and embed a roadmap for financial systems and processes, with a focus on scalability and best practice.Support the integration of adjacent domains (CRM, HRIS, BI).Qualifications

Strong background in financial applications and accounting/finance processes.Experience leading small teams and building capability through coaching and structure.Excellent stakeholder management – able to influence and bring clarity to complex demands.Comfortable with vendor management and separating in-house vs. external responsibilities.Proven track record of embedding frameworks and operational discipline.Exposure to private equity, venture capital or fund accounting environments is an advantage, but not essential.
