Supply Desk is currently working in partnership with a fantastic school located in Milton Keynes, seeking to appoint a dedicated and ambitious Art Teacher to join their dynamic and supportive team. This is a wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about inspiring creativity and helping students reach their full potential. The successful candidate will be joining a school that values collaboration, professional growth, and is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of young learners.



About the Role:


  • Deliver engaging and imaginative lessons that bring the curriculum to life for students in Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to extend to Key Stage 5 being highly desirable.


  • Develop lesson plans that align with the departmentandrsquo;s scheme of work and the broader online curriculum framework.


  • Use studentsandrsquo; previous attainment levels to inform planning and set clear, achievable goals for future progress.


  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of studentsandrsquo; academic performance and classroom contributions.


  • Provide timely and constructive feedback on all assignments, including homework, within agreed deadlines.


  • Track student progress closely, both academically and socially, and set personalised targets to support their development.


  • Foster a positive and respectful classroom environment by building strong, supportive relationships with students based on mutual trust and understanding.



The ideal candidate will:


  • A true enthusiasm for both Art and the teaching profession, with a desire to share creativity and inspire young minds.


  • Proven ability to work effectively with students of diverse abilities and varied backgrounds.


  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is ideal; however, candidates with substantial teaching experience are encouraged to apply - even if unqualified.


  • Excellent organisational skills, with the capacity to maintain a structured yet vibrant classroom that encourages creativity.


  • A strong ability to engage, inspire, and motivate students to unlock and develop their artistic potential
