2020 Recruitment are working with our Midlothian based manufacturer who are looking to add an experienced Machine Operator to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a nightshift position working Monday to Thursday from 10pm to 8am.

The successful candidate will have experience of setting and running machines within a manufacturing environment.

The Role

As the Machine Operator you will be responsible for quick, efficient tool changes and the production of parts of a high standard of quality the meets the clients expectations. As you will be working within a small team it is essential that you are able to operate as a team player and assist within all areas of the manufacturing department.

Duties & Responsibilities

As the Machine Operator your duties will include:

• Setting injection-moulding machines
• Process optimisation
• Production troubleshooting
• Tool changes
• Basic machine maintenance
• Maintaining health & safety at all times

Requirements

To be considered for the Machine Operator role you must have the following experience:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience of setting and running machinery
• Ideally experience of injection moulding machines
• Experience with the following machinery would be advantageous: - Arburg, Billion, Sumitomo Demag & Sandretto and Wittman & Seppro robots.
• Live local and within a commutable distance of Midlothian
• Must have the right to work in the UK
