Applications Engineer in Heat Pumps.Basic salary up to £50k+bonus.Based Telford, hybrid role.

If you''re a:Heating or Heat Pumps Engineer looking to get off the tools, this could be for you.Or would suit a Building Services Design or Projects Engineer, keen to specialise on heat pump products.

THE ROLE* Assessing enquiries for residential heat pump projects.* Working from specifications and drawings, to design, size and select a heat pump unit for a customers dwelling.* Liaising with engineers, installers and mechanical contractors to provide product advice for unit installations.*Provide heat loss calculations to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency.* Working closely with leading brand manufacturers, to assist with specialist design information.* Produce full quotations

THE PERSON* A strong heating and plumbing background.* You could be a current or former service or install engineer.* Knowledge of heat pumps is preferable. However, we will consider a background in boilers.* Also consider estimators, project engineers, design engineers from a heating or from an HVAC background, with enough knowledge of heating/plumbing.* Graduate engineers with extensive grasp of HVAC and heat pumps may also be considered.* Full driving licence required to undertake occasional site surveys.

THE PACKAGEA basic salary between c£35-50k, depending on background and experience.Annual bonus.25 days holiday.

THE LOCATIONOffered as a hybrid role, most likely 3 days in the office, 2 days at home.Working from the Telford office.
