With the introduction of the Building Safety Act and wider regulatory change, Hackney is investing significantly in building safety, creating the conditions for genuine transformation.In this leadership role, you will shape and deliver the Council s building safety strategy, overseeing policy development, governance, safety cases, inspections and compliance programmes. You will manage a multidisciplinary team and act as the Council s senior subject-matter expert, offering guidance to elected members, senior leaders and regulators.You will drive operational excellence, ensure clarity and transparency for residents, and embed strong risk and compliance frameworks across the housing portfolio.
