Personal care assistant required for young male. Our client is looking for a personal assistant for their son, who has a diagnosis of Autism, to support him with morning and evenings routines – getting ready for school, having breakfast and tea, bathing and getting ready for bed.Responsibilities

Provide support with morning and evening routines, including getting ready for school, breakfast and tea, bathing and getting ready for bed.Pay close attention to detail and prioritise safety due to the son''''s mischievous personality.Engage with the child using communication aids; support play and interactions in line with his preferences and independence.Qualifications and Skills

Excellent communication skills and ability to engage in play.Ability to follow safety guidelines and adapt to the child''''s needs.Experience with non-verbal children and use of communication aids is desirable.Role Details

Role: Personal care assistantHours: 12.5 hours per weekPay: £12.21 per hourSchedule: Monday to Friday – 1 hour in the morning and 1.5 hours in the eveningLocation: ScunthorpeDBS: Enhanced DBS required (to be funded)How to Apply
