We''re looking for a passionate and reliable

Sous Chef

to support the day-to-day running of a busy kitchen at a leading

food manufacturing site in Edinburgh . Working alongside a talented Chef Manager, you''ll play a vital role in preparing fresh, delicious meals for hard-working teams in a fast-paced, food-loving environment.

Monday to Friday

(hello, weekends off!) and be part of a supportive, enthusiastic kitchen team.

What You''ll be doing:Supporting the Chef Manager in delivering tasty, high-quality food every day

Prepping and cooking a variety of fresh dishes for breakfast, lunch, and hospitality service

Taking the lead in the kitchen when required and mentoring junior team members

Helping maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and compliance

Assisting with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste

Bringing ideas to the table to improve menus and service

What you''ll bring:Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP in a busy kitchen

Passion for great food and seasonal ingredients

Solid knowledge of food safety and kitchen best practice (Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene ideal)

A calm, can-do attitude and ability to work under pressure

Excellent teamwork, organisation, and communication skills
