They will deliver and fulfil the function of dispensing to the highest professional standard and maintain positive relationships with patients and colleagues. They are the essential link between the consulting room and the dispensing process for patient.Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining a positive, polite, and professional manner in all patient interactions. Complete all administrative tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring clinical records are thorough, up-to-date, and compliant with GDPR and data protection requirements. Handle financial transactions securely and accurately in line with company procedures. Support Optical Assistants when required, including assisting with patient pre-screening and general practice duties. Provide support, training and supervision of Dispensing Assistants. Participate in the three-way handover process between Optometrist and patient, ensuring a smooth and professional transition into the dispensing process. Confidently assist patients in selecting well-fitting frames and make appropriate lens recommendations, taking precise and accurate measurements using the Ipad when applicable.
