Assistant Engineering ManagerAylesburySalary Dependent on ExperienceOur client is a globally recognised brand within the wastewater treatment industry and they are looking for an Assistant Engineering Manager to join their team and progress to an Engineering Manager!Job Summary: Assist the Engineering Manager in the management of the Service Engineers, ensuring all site works are quoted and completed in a safe, timely manner on budgetRoles and Responsibilities:Health and Safety:Liaise with Health and Safety Officer to ensure compliance with all relevant Health and Safety legislationValid Risk Assessment and Method Statement are in place for all works, prior to any work going aheadAll accidents and incidents including ''near misses'' or HandS concerns are reported and addressed as requiredAll equipment is maintained / serviced / tested in line with best practice and mandatory requirements (PAT and LOLER testing)Operations: Manage water samples / laboratory analysisAssist in the organisation of workload for non-satellite Service Engineers, managing their workload as efficiently as possibleCreate workflow forms for electronic job sheets Ensure quotes completed in a timely manner (within 1 week of being uploaded)Liaise with production / stores/colleagues to ensure parts / labour / tools are available to Service Engineers for required worksMake sure any faulty equipment is reported and then repaired / replaced as required Ensure any misuse of equipment is appropriately dealt with ..... full job details .....
