Job Title: PCB Assembler/ Skilled AssemblerLocation: Stevenage Salary: 28,000 - 32,000 per annum Overview: We have an urgent requirement, our client is seeking multiple skilled PCB Assemblers to join their business. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling printed circuit boards to a high standard, working from technical drawings and specifications. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and experience working with both through-hole and surface mount components. Key Responsibilities:Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs) using through-hole and/or surface mount (SMT) techniquesWork from engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructionsSolder components including resistors, capacitors, ICs, and connectorsInspect and test assembled boards to ensure quality standards are metIdentify and report faults or inconsistencies in components or documentationRework and repair PCBs where requiredMaintain a clean and organised work environment in line with health and safety standardsRequirements:Previous experience in PCB assemblyStrong soldering skills (through-hole and/or SMT)Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematicsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailGood manual dexterityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDesirable:Experience working with older design boardsFamiliarity with IPC standards (e.g. IPC-A-610)Experience in a manufacturing or electronics ..... full job details .....
