Commercial and Property Claims Handler Location: Hybrid Salary: Competitive + benefits Job Type: Permanent The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial and Property Claims Handler to join an established and high-quality Claims Management team. This is a pivotal role supporting a key client across multiple bespoke insurance schemes. You will manage a varied caseload ofcommercial and residential property claims, including high-value and complex losses, from first notification through to settlement. You will be responsible for delivering positive outcomes for customers and clients through effective claims handling, clear communication and sound technical decision-making. Key Responsibilities Manage an allocated caseload of commercial and residential property claims from first notification through to settlement. Handle high-value and complex claims, ensuring accurate assessment, liability evaluation and timely progression. Thoroughly investigate claims by gathering and reviewing evidence, reports and supporting documentation. Assess policy coverage and claims circumstances in line with policy terms and conditions. Negotiate appropriate settlements within delegated authority. Manage external suppliers, including loss adjusters, contractors, surveyors and legal representatives.
