Supply Desk are working with a highly regarded grammar school in Rochester, Medway, seeking a full-time Design and Technology Teacher with a specialism in Food Technology. The successful candidate will be available from September (or earlier) on a long-term basis until at least Christmas, with full teaching responsibilities included. Both ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Engaging Teaching: Deliver high-quality lessons in Design and Technology, specialising in Food Technology, to Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Passion for Education: Demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to fostering a stimulating learning environment.
• Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a dedicated and supportive department.
• Curriculum Development: Plan and implement engaging lessons that inspire students and support their academic progress.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Open to All Levels: Applications from ECTs and experienced teachers are welcomed.
• Specialism: Expertise in Food Technology is desirable.
• Curriculum Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Design and Technology curriculum for KS3 and KS4, with a focus on Food Technology.
• Classroom Management: Ability to foster a positive and structured learning environment.
• Compensation: Salary is dependent on experience and current pay scale.
