Senior Electrical Project Manager (HV Manager)

Location: Within 1 Hour of London (Hybrid Working Available)

Salary: Circa -90,000 + Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits

M&E Giants Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced HV Operations & Project Manager to join a leading electrical engineering contractor delivering High Voltage and Low Voltage infrastructure projects across the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a growing HV division, leading project delivery, managing operational performance and developing a team of experienced engineers and project managers. You''ll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards while supporting the continued growth of the business.

Projects include Data Centres, Commercial Buildings, Healthcare, Industrial & Manufacturing Facilities, Utilities, Renewable Energy, Critical Infrastructure, Ports and Education.

The Role

• Lead and manage the successful delivery of HV and LV electrical infrastructure projects from design through to commissioning and handover.
• Manage and mentor Project Managers, Engineers, Authorised Persons and subcontractors.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Oversee resource planning, project programmes and operational performance.
• Manage commercial performance including project budgets, forecasts and costs.
• Review electrical designs and coordinate with clients, DNOs, consultants and contractors.
• Promote a strong Health & Safety culture and ensure compliance with Safe Systems of Work.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development opportunities.

Requirements

• HNC, HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or similar.
• Minimum 10 years'' experience delivering High Voltage electrical infrastructure projects.
• Proven leadership experience managing HV project teams.
• Strong knowledge of substations, switchgear, HV distribution systems and commissioning.
• Excellent commercial awareness and project management skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

• Senior Authorised Person (SAP) status.
• NEBOSH General Certificate.
• SMSTS.
• IOSH Managing Safely.
• IET Membership.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status.
