OmneaOur Mission
The way businesses buy stuff isOur Mission
The way businesses buy stuff is
completely broken . Whether it’s SaaS, hardware, or contractors, the average B2B purchase takes
over 3 months , requires
50+ emails , and involves
multiple different stakeholders
(IT, Legal, InfoSec, Finance, etc.). No one likes the way it is and it’s
slowing businesses down .
Omnea’s platform handles the
entire purchasing process : giving employees an easy place to make requests (Intake), managing the necessary approvals for the purchase to be made (Approvals Engine), and automating all renewals management and supplier risk assessments. Omnea gives both buyers,
and
finance and procurement leaders critical visibility into how, when, and
why
money is being spent.
Given the current market''s increased focus on capital efficiency, there has never been a more vital time for businesses to use Omnea and get control of their spend. This is why we''re one of the fastest growing Series A B2B businesses in Europe, backed by tier-1 VCs like Accel, First Round, and Point Nine.
Welcome to
Spend Control 2.0 — built for tougher times.
What We''re Looking For
We''re hiring a Community Associate to drive pipeline through unforgettable in-person and virtual experiences.
You''ll join our commercial team to plan, coordinate, and execute events across our key markets in Europe and the US — from executive dinners and customer breakfasts to roundtables, conferences, and webinars. If you''re excited about storytelling, logistics, and building high-quality communities, this is a unique opportunity to break into go-to-market at one of Europe’s fastest-growing SaaS startups.
But this isn’t just an events job. Success in this role means being as comfortable pitching our product as you are planning the logistics. You’ll learn how to assess whether an event is likely to generate pipeline, choose the right format and messaging for our ICP, and be a key voice in our GTM engine. You''ll work closely with the entire GTM team and report directly to our CCO — and you''ll learn fast by crafting at speed.
You’ll be joining us at an incredibly exciting time, just as things are starting to take off! We''re a Series A company having raised $25m from Accel, Point Nine, First Round, and 50+ renowned founders and industry experts. We’ve built an incredible and passionate team — every member was a top performer at their previous business - and our CEO, CCO and CFO went on a similar journey with Tessian, going from $0-30m ARR / $8-$500m valuation, and from pre-seed to Series C (Sequoia, Accel, etc.).
We''ve spent the past 24 months building and deploying our platform to many of the greatest tech companies and global enterprises out there (Spotify, McAfee, Onfido, Typeform, Proofpoint, Albertsons, Adecco etc.), all whilst managing to stay lean and operate efficiently.
Omnea operates as a meritocracy, and the right person will progress quickly. Within 12–24 months, you''ll be leading our strategy for how events contribute to pipeline generation — taking increasing ownership of this channel as a core driver of our company''s growth.
What Can You Expect?
You’ll be an early commercial hire at one of Europe’s most promising early-stage companies working alongside an experienced team who have done this before and worked with the best investors and teams out there. You’ll plan, run, and attend unforgettable in-person and virtual events — including executive dinners, customer breakfasts, roundtables, meetups, webinars, and conferences. Recent examples include our Stockholm CFO Series, CPO dinner in Frankfurt, and CFO dinner in London. You’ll play a hands-on role at events — pitching Omnea, qualifying prospects, giving demos, and gathering insights. You’ll build the commercial judgment to know what will generate pipeline and what won’t, and help filter which opportunities we pursue. You’ll collaborate with sales, marketing, partnerships, and customer success to ensure events are fully integrated across the funnel — from pre-event targeting to post-event follow-up and collateral. You’ll be accountable for how events contribute to pipeline and revenue. That includes managing budgets, measuring ROI, and constantly iterating to focus on what works best. You’ll help build our community and events function from scratch — with the opportunity to scale it into a core growth channel. Within 12–24 months, you’ll be leading our strategy for how events contribute to revenue. You’ll support customer marketing efforts by activating our champion network through reference calls, community engagement, and success stories that build brand trust and visibility. You’ll conduct competitor and market research to uncover new formats, venues, and moments that will give us a creative and strategic edge. This is a high-leverage, high-visibility role. You’ll earn a performance-based bonus tied to both pipeline generated and overall company revenue — with uncapped upside.
About You
You have a constant focus on growth and will succeed at whatever you put your mind to. You’re intelligent and can work stuff out from first principles. You’re hard-working and willing to roll up your sleeves to do whatever. You’re entrepreneurial and will make an excellent future commercial leader and/or founder.
You Might
Have 3–5 years of experience driving pipeline generation through events (especially hosted dinners and intimate gatherings), ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment where you owned both strategy and execution. You may not have any B2B / SaaS experience but you will have excelled at something incredibly challenging that demonstrates your grit and ability to sell. For example, you may be a career changer who did well in a different sector like law / banking / consulting / something else similarly intense and difficult, but now want to go on this journey of learning to sell and building a business.Be earlier in your career, but have excelled at something difficult that shows grit, creativity, and high standards — whether that’s running a side hustle, leading a student society, or building something from scratch.
What Matters Most Is That
You are a natural organiser and operator. You love turning chaos into structure and feel genuine excitement (not fear) at the idea of coordinating a 30-person executive dinner in another country. Planning a wedding doesn’t intimidate you — it energises you.You have a bias for logistics and delivery. You sweat the small stuff, triple-check the name tags, own the run-of-show, and always have a backup plan. You are an exceptional communicator. You’re clear, warm, and confident whether you’re emailing a CFO, chatting at an event, or briefing a colleague. You are customer-obsessed. You think deeply about the experience from the prospect or partner’s perspective and constantly look for ways to surprise and delight. You are commercially minded. You don’t just want to “run events,” you want to generate pipeline. You think about ROI, message–market fit, and how every touchpoint drives revenue. You’re entrepreneurial and want to be part of building a business. You want to rise faster than would be possible in any ‘normal’ career and you’re happy to roll up your sleeves and do whatever’s required. We''ve even signed up to the Future Founder Promise. You can build trust with senior stakeholders. You’ve got the gravitas and credibility to talk to execs and keep them engaged. You thrive in high-ownership environments. You want autonomy, accountability, and the opportunity to grow fast. You want to grow within Omnea. Perhaps you want to become the best marketer, customer success, or product specialist out there and you’re looking for a company that can offer you that growth and learning opportunity to enable you to become a future leader. You are excited by international travel. This role involves frequent travel across Europe and the US to bring our events to life.
At Omnea, we embrace diversity. To build a product that''s loved by everyone, we''re best served by a team with all sorts of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn''t quite match the full job spec! And regardless of your race, religion, colour, gender, or anything else! If you think you could be a good fit for Omnea, please reach out.
