Field Engineer - MSP - Bristol / Exeter Do you like being out on site fixing things properly rather than just logging tickets? We''re working with a well-established, growing MSP that needs a hands-on Field Engineer to look after its customers across Bristol and Exeter. This role replaces a leaver on a busy patch. You''ll be the face of the business on site, covering everything from BAU support through to infrastructure projects. You''ll work independently and own the relationship with the customers you look after. What you''ll be doing On-site 2nd/3rd line support for a portfolio of SME and mid-market customers Server and network infrastructure work, including installs, upgrades, migrations and troubleshooting Configuring and supporting firewalls, switches, VLANs and VPNs Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune administration Deploying new kit and delivering small projects end to end Building strong working relationships with customer contacts What we''re looking for Proven experience in an MSP or IT services environment Solid networking knowledge covering VLANs, VPNs, DNS and firewall configuration (Sophos, SonicWall, FortiGate or Meraki ideal) Windows Server and Active Directory experience Strong Microsoft 365 administration skills Confident and personable with customers, and comfortable working on your own A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly between Bristol and Exeter What''s on offer Competitive salary depending on experience Remote working ..... full job details .....
