Five Education is looking for a teaching assistant in Central Bristol to support students of primary and secondary age in an alternative provision setting. The students have a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties and behaviour challenges. You will be supporting students on a 1:1 basis and adapting approaches to meet the individual needs of the child. The standard hours are 8:30-15:30 but some days will be mornings only from 8:30-12:30. Full time is preferred but part time will also be considered. Experience with SEMH, high needs children, and autism is essential. The successful candidate will be resilient and determined to establish an excellent rapport with hard to reach children. The school is in central Bristol and is easily accessible by public transport.
