Key Responsibilities of an Automation Support Engineer (Controls) Respond to automation faults and breakdowns minimising downtime. Fault finding and modifications to control systems. Prioritize faults and breakdowns demonstrating a structured problem solving approach. Collaborating with the engineering team to resolve complex issues. Provide technical support with modifications, maintenance, upgrades for existing safety and PLC Control Systems. Carry out system check on PLC/HMI/SCADA systems.
