Senior Quantity Surveyor

Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) with strong NEC contract and Main Contractor experience? We are currently recruiting for a freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor / Senior QS to support the delivery of a major infrastructure project in Oxfordshire.
The project will involve the construction of a new pedestrian and cycle bridge across the River Thames, forming part of the wider Oxpens / West End regeneration programme.
 
This is a long-term freelance opportunity anticipated to run through to March 2027, offering the chance to work on a high-profile infrastructure and bridge project within the Southern Region.
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for providing strong commercial support throughout the project, working closely with the Main Contractor and wider project team.
Key Requirements:
·Proven Senior Quantity Surveyor experience with a Main Contractor
·Strong NEC contract experience
·Infrastructure, highways or civil engineering background
·Knowledge of the Method of Measurement for Highway Works (MMHW)
·Strong commercial and contractual understanding
·Excellent communication and teamwork skills
·Bridge experience preferred
·Able to work on site in at least 3 days per week
·Must be within reasonable travelling distance of Oxfordshire and future sites across the western region
