Reporting directly to the Head of FPandA, this is a key role responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity and timely delivery of financial information, with a particular focus on income, payroll costs and balance sheet reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong financial accounting background who enjoys getting into the detail, improving processes and working collaboratively with both finance and operational teams. Benefits will include: - Salary up to £52,000 Fully remote working 25 days holiday + stats Company pension As Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in the month-end and period-close process, ensuring income and payroll-related costs are accurately reflected in the management accounts. Duties will include: - Maintain the financial integrity and accuracy of income-related actuals. Lead the period-close process for income and payroll-related areas. Review income completeness, trends and exceptions, resolving issues promptly. Prepare and review accruals, journals and accounting adjustments. Support the accurate accounting of payroll costs and salary-related accruals. Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, including deferred income and income provisions.
