Costain are working with Thames Water on a variety of water and wastewater projects and have fantastic opportunities for individuals to join our growing AMP8 delivery team, working predominantly across the Thames Valley and Thames South regions. There is a mix of projects ranging from smaller capital maintenance to large civil new build schemes.The Senior Environment Advisor is required to support the Contract Environmental functions, provide, and support Environmental solutions and enable the Contract / Operational Teams to implement the SHE Management System. To build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders, whilst providing an independent and objective view of SHE Performance on the Contract.Responsibilities

Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and Influence Contract Leadership Team, Clients, and other Stakeholders in compliance with the Group SHE Management System and Contract Environmental PerformanceSupport and where required deliver training, to allow the contract team to successfully implement the Group SHE Management SystemCoach and support the Contract Operational and Supply Chain Contractors in the delivery of the Contract Environmental requirementsWhere required be actively involved in the ongoing assessment of the Contracts Supply Chain ContractorsActively support the delivery of the annual Contract and Group SHE ObjectivesActively engage with the Contract Environmental Assurance programme to ensure compliance with company and statutory requirementsActively support the investigation of all unplanned events and close out of assurance findings, ensuring lessons are shared in accordance with the SHE Management SystemSupport the timely reporting, analysis, and use of Environmental data to support and influence the Contract Leadership Team and where required support the development and implementation of data-based improvement plansExperience

Essential:3 years Environmental related experienceDesirable:Over 5 years relevant Environmental experience in relevant industry#LI-BM1Qualifications
