TAX ACCOUNTANT - FMCG - BRACKNELL Robert half are the exclusive recruitment partner to a fast growing, investor backed FMCG manufacturing business that due to international expansion, are seeking a confident, technically proficient and commercially focused Tax Accountant to coordinate the and deliver both direct, indirect and transfer pricing calculations and advisory services for the UK entities. This role would suit a tax accountant / tax assistant that is looking to develop and grow with an organisation, has understanding and exposure to a variety of tax / VAT challenges, is s self starter and is happy with 1-2 days in office per week. Duties: Key Responsibilities: VAT Compliance: Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns in compliance with local tax laws and deadlines. Reconcile VAT accounts and investigate variances or anomalies. Monitor changes in VAT legislation and advise the business on implications. Plastic tax compliance Prepare, review and submit plastic tax returns Monitoring changes in Plastic tax law Year-End Tax Disclosure: Support the preparation of the year-end tax disclosure in accordance with relevant IFRS accounting standards Collaborate with the finance team and external auditors during year-end close and audits. Ensure appropriate documentation and reconciliation of tax and deferred tax balances. Annual Tax Returns: Liaise with external tax advisors in the process of corporate tax returns preparation.
