Childcare Solicitor - Are you looking to join a successful law firm that offers long-term career prospects?

Joining a specialist team near Staines-upon-Thames, the successful lawyer will utilize their skills and expertise in childcare to manage a varied caseload for a designated portfolio of clients. Additionally, the successful Solicitor or Legal Executive will play a key role in the ongoing growth of the team and in building and maintaining client relationships.

Our client is a full-service firm with a strong presence in the South East. They serve both individuals and businesses, building and maintaining excellent client relationships. Staffed by a dedicated team, they pride themselves on providing tailored services to meet their clients'' needs in a professional and friendly manner. Accredited by Lexcel and the Conveyancing Quality Scheme, the firm has received recognition for their expertise and practice management. They are now seeking a Childcare Lawyer on a permanent basis.

Childcare Solicitor duties include:

Advising parents and children

Handling childcare proceedings

Managing special guardianship orders

Handling adoption cases

Child protection cases

Attending pre-proceeding meetings

Representing clients at contested final hearings

Building client relationships

Participating in business development activities

Qualifications and Experience for this Childcare Solicitor role:

Qualified solicitors and legal executives with at least 5 years’ PQE

Technical proficiency in childcare matters

Membership of the Law Society’s Children Panel is required

Excellent communication and client care skills

IT literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office

Knowledge of Proclaim is desirable

Highly organized with the ability to meet tight deadlines

Aptitude for business development

Benefits for this Childcare Solicitor role:

Salary of £55,000 - £65,000

1-2 days remote working per week
