OverviewService Engineer / Field Service Technician / HVAC Engineer required to join a market-leading HVAC service provider.

The role involves providing mechanical and electrical repair, service, fault finding and maintenance of HVAC products including Chillers, Coolers, Air Conditioning units, Air Handling Units (AHUs) and associated products at customer sites covering Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex and the surrounding areas. Full product training provided.

£40,000-£45,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities

Provide mechanical and electrical repair, service, fault finding and maintenance of HVAC systems including Chillers, Coolers, Air Conditioning units, Air Handling Units (AHUs), and associated products at customer sites covering Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex and the surrounding areas.

Undertake planned and preventative maintenance; provide advice, diagnostics and fault finding on HVAC equipment including industrial chillers, coolers, air conditioning units, amongst others.

Perform emergency breakdowns, fault finding and repairs on various chillers and cooling system equipment.

Liaise with various engineering departments.

This is a field-based role covering Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex and the surrounding areas.

Requirements

Proven experience within the HVAC industry, ideally working with Chillers, AHUs, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning units or similar.

Must hold a valid Category 2 F-Gas qualification (Level 1 minimum).

Willingness to cover Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex and the surrounding areas.

Mechanical or Electrical engineering qualifications are advantageous.

Experience with maintenance and repair of complex systems and ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Full driving licence is required.
