Transport Administrator Job OverviewA well-established, family-owned transport and logistics company based in Portsmouth is currently seeking a Network Coordinator / Transport Administrator to join their growing Pallet Network Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced transport office professional to work in a fast-paced and supportive environment where no two days are the same.The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of the pallet network operations, working closely with drivers, depots, and internal teams to maintain service excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a central point of contact for customers, depots, and drivers via phone and emailEfficiently book and manage jobs using bespoke transport softwareResolve transport-related queries and issues in a timely mannerCoordinate delivery and collection schedules using routing systems and direct communication with driversMaintain accurate records in compliance with both company procedures and regulatory standardsDeliver high-quality customer service while supporting overall operational efficiencyWorking hours:Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 6:30pm (1-hour lunch break)Flexibility required to cover additional shifts during colleague absences: 6:00am - 2:30pm8:00am - 4:30pmSaturday rota (1 in 4): Light duties from home (typically a few hours) Transport Administrator Job RequirementsProven experience in a similar role within a busy transport or logistics office ..... full job details .....
