We have a new and excitingopportunity for a band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the team based in Reading.We have an exciting opportunity for a band 6 orexperienced band 5 OT to join our amazing integrated therapy team.As a Childrens OT, you will be part of the Children and Young PeoplesIntegrated Therapy team under the direction of a Band 7 therapist. Therewill also be dedicated time and opportunities to shadow therapists in varioussettings, attend trainingMain duties of the job
Function as a specialist autonomousclinician, with a role in supporting delivery of the CYPIT model, developmentof the CYPF (Children and Young People and Families model).Providespecialist clinical care including assessment, diagnosis and interventions, fora mixed caseload, and to be active in providing guidance and support to othermore junior staff.Providehigh quality assessment and interventions for children and young people withdevelopmental / complex needs in area of specialist expertise, using evidencebased/person-centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluateinterventions.Provide specialist therapy input intoclinical services within a designated area/team, contributing to definedprojects as requested by Clinical Leads.Provide highquality supervision as appropriate to your level of knowledge and skill toseveral band 5/4/3 therapists, enabling them to do the same to more juniorstaff.About us

Experience
Experienced in working with Paediatric caseload in community and excellent clinical decision making essential.Qualifications
OT Qualification and experience mandatory.HCPC registration mandatory.Disclosure and Barring Service Check
