An exciting opportunity to join a specialist Manufacturing business in Manchester, looking for a commercially astute Head of Finance to lead their UK finance function. This is a hands-on, leadership role with full ownership of financial operations and reporting.

Responsibilities

Driving financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting

Developing and mentoring the finance team

Supporting margin improvement, cost control, and performance tracking

Overseeing cash flow, treasury, and liquidity

Managing standard costing and variance analysis

Ensuring full compliance across tax, payroll, and internal controls

Partnering with senior leadership on strategic business initiatives

Qualifications

A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

Proven experience within Manufacturing/Pharmaceutical

An understanding of a multi group environment.

A strong grasp of operational and commercial finance

The ability to influence cross-functionally and lead teams effectively

Hands on approach with an eye for continuous improvement

The ability to work under pressure
