We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Vehicle Technician at their independent garage in Crawley, West Sussex. This is an excellent Vehicle Technician opportunity for a skilled motor trade professional to join a reputable, fast-growing enterprise specialising in all makes and models. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

• Service vehicles and perform mechanical repairs to high standards and in compliance with safety regulations
• Assist with tyre fitting, wheel alignments, and relevant adjustments
• Fit brakes, exhausts, and other mechanical components efficiently and accurately
• Conduct vehicle inspections, identify additional faults, and communicate findings clearly to customers
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and repairs
• Ensure all work is conducted in a safe manner in line with health and safety regulations
• Support workshop operations through additional duties as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role within the motor trade
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points (subject to licence checks)
• Excellent problem-solving ability and meticulous attention to detail
• Effective communicator, capable of explaining technical issues clearly to customers
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Positive attitude with a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service
