SEN Teaching Assistant - Rugby
Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Rugby to recruit a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of pupils with additional needs while becoming part of a supportive and inclusive school community.The RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and reach their full potential. You may be supporting children on a 1:1 basis or within small groups, depending on the needs of the school.Your responsibilities will include:Providing tailored support to pupils with Special Educational NeedsSupporting children with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning difficultiesEncouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeingAssisting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and interventionsPromoting independence, confidence, and social developmentWorking collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staffThe successful candidate will have:Experience working with children, ideally within a primary school settingPrevious experience supporting pupils with SENA patient, caring, and resilient approachStrong communication and relationship-building skillsA genuine passion for supporting children with additional needsRelevant qualifications are desirable but not essentialWhat Hays Education Can ..... full job details .....
