Our client is looking for a Senior FBP to act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing insight, challenge, and strategic financial guidance. This is a high impact advisory role where your expertise will shape decisions, manage risks, and drive financial performance across the business. You will partner with leaders, challenge assumptions, and ensure that decisions are informed by accurate financial insightKey responsibilities
Support month-end close activities by ensuring accuracy, completeness of costs, and insightful variance commentary aligned to budgets and forecasts.Ensure costs are recognised in line with IFRS standards, with clear distinction between operating expenses and capitalised items.Lead quarterly performance reviews, highlighting achievements, variances, and forward-looking forecasts for the business area.Drive the annual budgeting cycle, coordinating inputs and producing a robust financial plan that reflects operational priorities.Deliver timely reporting tailored to different audiences, leveraging deep cost knowledge to inform both internal and external stakeholders.Challenge financial performance constructively, identifying inefficiencies and ensuring adherence to governance and procurement processes.Develop compelling business cases to support capital investments, backed by clear financial rationale and alignment with strategic goals.Build trusted partnerships with stakeholders across functions, acting as a key financial advisor while tailoring insights to their needs.Promote financial discipline by reinforcing governance frameworks and partnering with Procurement to achieve cost savings.Foster a collaborative, high-performance environment that balances adaptability with strong problem-solving and communication skills.Qualifications and Experience
Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CAANZ or equivalentProven experience as a Senior Finance Business Partner, ideally in a complex or high performing businessDemonstrated ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders effectivelyStrong skills in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysisExcellent commercial acumen and proactive problem-solving abilityExperience managing staffThis role offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact at a strategic level working alongside senior business leaders to shape decisions, drive performance, and deliver resultsSeniority level
