Carmichael UK are recruiting for an experienced Section Engineer to join a major Tier 1 highways contractor delivering a high-profile infrastructure project in East London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term scheme and play a key role in the successful delivery of complex highways works, working alongside an established site team on a flagship project. The role aligns with responsibilities typically expected of a Section Engineer delivering highways and roadworks packages. The Role As Section Engineer, you will be responsible for managing a section of works from planning through to delivery, ensuring quality, programme and safety objectives are achieved. You will provide technical support to site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure engineering activities are delivered efficiently. Responsibilities commonly include overseeing engineering requirements, managing documentation, supporting quality processes, and coordinating site activities.
