We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work within high schools across the Macclesfield area. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that students continue their learning during a teacher''s absence. If you have experience working with young people, are adaptable, and have excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support students in the classroom during the absence of the class teacher
• Ensure students remain engaged and complete set tasks
• Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive and productive learning environment
• Support student''s well being and emotional needs
• Report any issues or concerns to relevant school staff
• Adhere to the school''s policies and procedures at all times

What We Are Looking For:

• Previous experience working with young people (teaching, tutoring, or mentoring is an advantage)
• Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
• The ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a calm, positive atmosphere
• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting student learning
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
