The VenueWere looking for an experienced Sous Chef for our client''s 1-Rosette Boutique Hotel and Restaurant, set against the stunning backdrop of the Lothians seascape.
The RoleKey Responsibilities:Oversee the preparation and presentation of all food items to the highest standard in the Head Chef''s absence.Assist in leading, training, and developing a motivated and skilled kitchen team.Design and deliver seasonal menus that celebrate fresh, local ingredients.Ensure all health and safety, hygiene, and food safety standards are met.Manage kitchen stock levels and supplier relationships effectively.Work collaboratively with FOH to deliver a seamless guest experience.
The PersonProven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or above in a similar environment.1 Rosette standard experience as a minimum is preferred.Proven leadership, communication, and organisational skills.Creative, passionate, and committed to delivering high-quality, honest food.Flexibility to work across various shifts including weekends and holidays.
