About the roles
We are currently recruiting for permanent Humanities and Social Sciences Teachers to join our partner secondary schools across Kent. Positions are available in a number of locations, including Tonbridge, Dartford, Gravesend and several other areas across Kent.
These are full-time, permanent roles commencing in September. Successful candidates will be paid to scale in line with their experience.
About the schools
Our partner schools are well-established secondary schools, each with a commitment to providing a supportive and ambitious learning environment. They value academic achievement alongside personal development, and are seeking dedicated teachers who can deliver engaging lessons across KS3, KS4 and, in many cases, KS5.
Subjects taught within these roles may include:
History
Geography
Religious Education (RE)
Psychology
Sociology
Timetable requirements will vary by school, so we are keen to hear from candidates with a specialism in any of the above subjects, as well as those who can teach a combination.
Ideal candidates will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
A specialism in one or more of the following: History, Geography, RE, Psychology, or Sociology
Experience teaching their subject(s) at secondary level (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
A commitment to raising pupil attainment and engagement
Strong classroom management and communication skills
