Icebrg is a London-based wealthtech startup creating a digital Platform as a Service for modern investment managers: a cloud-native, API-driven wealthtech platform that integrates custody, trading, portfolio management, reporting, and compliance workflows. With live connectivity to Saxo Bank, Addepar, and multiple API-based services (client KYC/AML, market data providers, and many others), Icebrg enables scalable and compliant operations for investment managers. We work in a joint venture with an FCA-regulated partner in the United Kingdom.Our platform handles the most complex aspects of investment management operations, from regulatory compliance and custody services to multi-asset trading and comprehensive reporting. With seamless integrations to industry-leading systems, we provide our clients with access to global markets while managing all the operational complexity behind the scenes.The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Manager to lead the operational setup and management of the Icebrg platform. You will oversee client assets and reporting, manage operational and regulatory processes, and ensure seamless integration of operational workflows with our technology infrastructure. This is a highly technical role: you will work closely with the CTO and the developers’ team, leveraging Open API integrations and modern financial infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of client money and asset processing (CASS), reporting and safeguarding procedures, ensuring full compliance with FCA requirementsOversee client account configuration, fees and commissions setup and management, funding processes, and ongoing account maintenance across our platformImplement and maintain robust client and firm account structures to support diverse operational and regulatory requirementsManage comprehensive regulatory reporting, including transaction reporting, position reporting, and market abuse surveillanceMaintain books and records in accordance with regulatory standards and audit requirementsLeverage our extensive Open API integration ecosystem, implementing best practices for system connectivity and data flowOversee trading operations, including order management, execution, settlement, custody and reporting across multiple asset classes and marketsProcess and manage end-of-day (EOD) files and coordinate data reconciliation across the integrated systemsCoordinate fees and commissions processing, including calculation, allocation, and client billingImplement operational procedures and controls to ensure platform reliability and regulatory complianceLead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention, including automation initiatives for client money reconciliation and reportingManage operational risk assessment and implement appropriate controls and monitoring proceduresCoordinate with technology teams to ensure operational requirements are incorporated into platform developmentImplement best practices for data security and operational resilienceAct as the operational expert in conversations with partners and vendorsRequired Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum 7+ years of senior-level operations experience in investment management or institutional trading environmentsExtensive experience with client money and asset operations, including CASS compliance and regulatory reportingStrong background in multi-asset trading operations, settlement, and custody processesExtensive experience with regulatory reporting, including transaction reporting, position reporting, and audit processesSolid technical foundation with hands-on experience in Open API technologies, database management, and financial systems integrationExperience with financial data processing, reconciliation systems, and automation of the operational workflowsExperience with portfolio management systems, trading platforms, and financial reporting toolsFamiliarity with Saxo Bank integrations/management and Addepar strongly preferredKnowledge of cybersecurity best practices and operational security controlsQualifications: Finance/STEM degree and operations certifications preferredWhat We OfferCompetitive salary + performance-based equity options allocationFlexible hybrid workOpportunity to build and scale the operational core of a disruptive wealthtech
