Mechanical Estimator

Location: London

Salary: -60,000 - -90,000 + Benefits

As a Mechanical Estimator, you''ll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for a wide range of Mechanical Building Services projects.

Working closely with the Commercial, Design and Operations teams, you''ll play a key role in securing new business and supporting successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical estimates from drawings and specifications.
• Produce quantity take-offs and cost plans.
• Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Review tender documentation and identify commercial risks.
• Develop value engineering solutions where appropriate.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and internal project teams.
• Support the handover of successful tenders to the delivery team.

About You

• Experience working for an MEP or Building Services contractor.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to manage multiple tenders and work to deadlines.
