Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fire Alarm Engineer to carry out the installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of fire alarm systems across the North West. The role involves working across commercial, industrial, and residential sites, ensuring all systems comply with current regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities Install and maintain fire alarm systems in line with BS 5839 standards Service and maintain existing fire alarm systems Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs Complete accurate service reports, certificates, and documentation Liaise professionally with clients, site managers, and other engineers Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations Participate in an on-call rota where required Manage tools, equipment, and company vehicle responsibly Systems Experience (Desirable) Conventional and addressable fire alarm systems Knowledge of manufacturers such as Gent, Apollo, Advanced, Notifier, C-Tec, or similar Basic understanding of emergency lighting (advantageous but not essential) Required Skills and Experience Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer (installation and servicing) Good knowledge of fire alarm regulations and British Standards Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Good communication and customer service skills IT literacy for reporting and ..... full job details .....
