Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct vehicle diagnostics and repairs efficiently to manufacturer standards
• Carry out MOT testing, with support to gain or utilise MOT accreditation
• Complete all work accurately within set timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards
• Perform quality checks and upsell additional services where appropriate
• Maintain comprehensive records of work performed and parts used
• Advise customers on vehicle maintenance and repair needs
• Support the team in achieving sales targets for labour and parts
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through professional service

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

• Proven experience as a Motor Trade Technician, with relevant industry qualifications
• MOT Tester certification (preferred but not essential; willingness to obtain certification)
• Ability to perform diagnostics and repairs competently
• Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach
• Valid drivers licence and own vehicle
• Willingness to obtain MOT accreditation if not already qualified
• Experience with VAG group vehicles is highly desirable for Master Technician roles
