Job Title: DMC TechnicianType: Permanent, Full TimeLocation: HerefordSalary: £31,726 per annumHours: 37 per weekBRC are working closely with a housing provider to recruit a skilled trades DMC Technician to join their damp, mould and condensation team.This role involves responding to reports of damp, mould and condensation in customers'' homes, assessing issues, identifying the root cause, and carrying out appropriate remedial works. You''ll also provide advice and guidance to residents on prevention and contribute to healthy living conditions and high-quality homes.Duties: Visit properties to assess damp, mould and condensation issues and determine root causesCarry out remedial works to remove hazards and prevent recurrenceImprove ventilation and undertake minor repairs such as mould removal and repaintingProvide residents with information and advice on prevention and maintenanceAdhere to health and safety regulations and ensure works are compliantDeliver a "first time fix" approach where possibleMaintain accurate records of work undertaken Requirements: City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in a relevant trade qualificationValid UK driving licenceWillingness to complete a Level 3 Award in Damp Mould and Condensation in Buildings within the first six months of employmentComfortable diagnosing issues and communicating with residentsBasic DBS check will be required Benefits: Annual leave and bank holidaysPension schemeHealthcare planTools, van and work uniform providedContinual ..... full job details .....
