Our client, based in South Cambridge, is looking for a temporary Contracts Officer; initially this role is for 3 months. This is a full-time position (37hrs per week) and for at least the first month, the role will be office based. Once all training has taken place, there is flexibility for the role to be hybrid (min 60% office based). Due to the rural location, candidates will need to have their own transport to get to work. The contracts officer will work with both new and existing clients and suppliers; supporting internal initiatives and colleagues across the business on contractual matters. Your responsibilities will include: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating confidentiality agreements, supplier agreements and statement of works. Reviewing and negotiating statement of works and intellectual property assignments. Managing contracts through review, approval and record-keeping processes. Supporting colleagues across the business on contractual processes and requirements. Identifying and implementing improvements to current processes and ways of working. Providing commercial and contractual support on a variety of business projects. To be suitable for this role, candidates will need to have the following skills and experience: Previous experience in a contracts, commercial, legal administration or similar role.
